The episodes you missed...

So now that our first film is busy in editing and post production, I thought I'd like to briefly share with you the idea behind Azumaya Jump: Episode 83.

In case you've ever tuned in late night and found yourself watching an anime show (that you've never watched before), you might be caught quite confused due to the sometimes 40-episode plots. Quite entertaining if you've been keeping up, but a little odd to watch half-way through. Back when I was just starting to re-write CITRUSFIELD (the secret code name for a future near full-length motion picture) I started to kick other ideas around. One of them was to be a live-action spoof/tribute to those kind of anime shows. It'd be a show that never actually exsisted, but had been running for quite a long time. You just happened to tune in half way through a long storyline. It never went farther than that.

After a long time with no thought about, Lost shed some light on a Youtube contest about getting to a local upcoming anime contest. So with that I dusted off the idea and tried to condense into a storyline that will (hopefully) read in the three-minute time limit the movie has.

So the basic story is very much the same. An anime show that you've never seen, but feels like you might have seen it somewhere.

On Location

As promised here are some choice shots from our location filming.

Our amazing Camera man/Technical Consultant films the tense drama filled scene. Here we see our hero's on their long journey to a plot point or a denouement which ever comes first.

We are moving right a long getting the footage to the editing room. Lets just say that the footage is stunning! Excellent framing and camera work. Look forward to the make of special and the upcoming trailer!

Full Production!

The first Lost Horizon Pictures production is in full swing! Our first day of shooting went a little long, but we wrapped with all the major location shots in the can. Stay tuned for some on the set shots and some pre-production prop and costume shots!
